Writing During a Pandemic

Writing During a Pandemic

Are you trying to continue writing during a pandemic? Some of us have been trying to just slog along with all the emotional, financial, and physical upheavals that have come about lately. It has been over 18 months of us trying to keep each other healthy in both mind and body. The soul may have been left out of the equation on more than one occasion. Some of us have been very productive and others have gone to the other extreme and put everything that we love and cherish on hold. To me, writing can help relieve a lot of stress that has been building up in my mind by just spewing all of it onto a blank canvas. In the writer’s case, we mean onto a blank document. Getting all that mess out of my head and onto a page helps relieve some of my stress.

As an artist in several expressive fields, I have been creating a lot of short videos for my business, my client’s businesses, and just for fun. Now, I need to get back to work and down to the business of actually writing. Yes, creating blog posts is a form of writing and I have been trying to keep up with that. I have also removed and/or combined some of my websites to narrow my focus to just a few subjects. I have deleted some domains and moved their articles to this website. There is no reason why I cannot post them here on my very own domain that is all about writing. Examples are always nice to share. Insight and research ideas and techniques I have learned over the years are, I hope, appreciated by my readers.

To conclude this tirade I just wish to say, please relieve your stress on a regular basis. Get back to writing as much as you can as soon as you can. And, finally, keep you and your family healthy, happy, and working on your next great thing. How do you and your family get rid of your stress? Share with the class in the comments below. Got a lot of ideas on how to de-stress during a pandemic why not send them to my email using my CONTACT FORM. You can be featured in a future article!
