Learning New Skill and Reading More Books

Share this post on:

For the new year we are learning new skills and are getting to read more books in the process. I am continuing to offer my services for local writers to create book trailers, quotes posters and social media advice as well as helping North Florida writers with marketing their stories. Of course, creating websites, social media pages and helping the writers get on a comfortable posting schedule is a challenge but it is an enjoyable one for now. Check out my new favorite writers new website and see some of her book trailers and soon poster quotes that we created for her in the future. https://laceydancer.com Below is a copy of one of our book reviews we included in our services. We cannot guarantee good reviews but we do try to do honest ones and they are free when you purchase some of our services.

Playing With Fire (Live Oak Series Book 2)Playing With Fire by Lacey Dancer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The continuing saga in the Live Oak Series has a really good story-line. This book features the love story between Lucy and Alex. It also keeps the reader abreast on the other couple from the previous book and actually begins exactly where the first book leaves off. So, in the interest of clarity you will really need to read the first book before the second and even the third.

Here are some of the excerpts and quotes that I found interesting and, hopefully, do not contain any spoilers.

“The first time he had met Lucy Winters was when she had driven from South Florida to Live Oak in response to her own worry about Randi’s safety.”

“Alex reminded her of a golden stallion, all sleek muscles and arrogance Lucy could easily picture Alex as a CEO of a Fortune 500 company. Instead, he was a farmer.”
“I plan on feeding him carrots every morning just to say thank you for giving me a future,” Randi put in.
“I’ll cut them up for you. I’ll even hold the bag but no way are my fingers getting anywhere near that animal’s teeth,” Lucy added.

Even though it begins at the end of the last book it does have it’s own twists and turns as well as a new danger facing the couple further into the story.

What is unusual about this series that that it includes the old characters from the previous book and introduces new ones that will play a major role in future books. It is kind of like a continuing story you would see on TV. Follow along and see what happens.
