Favorite Authors on YouTube

Finding your favorite author on Youtube is really kind of fun. I don’t have access to regular television and have to depend on the internet for my news and entertainment. That and the local library, wherever we are, are the only sources of information, books to read, videos to watch, etc. So, about once a month or so I go onto Youtube to see if there have been any new videos/interviews/movies or whatever featuring my favorite authors. One of them is James Patterson. I have read most of his books including the Alex Cross series, the Women’s Murder Club series and even the Maximum Ride and Witch and Wizard series. I haven’t read some of the other series yet but I will eventually get around to them as well. The local libraries we now have access to do not always have all the latest issues from most of my favorite writers or even the complete series available. I have even watched the movies made from his books. Those turned out really well and are well worth the viewing. No, they do not cover as much details as the books but they are close to the books as possible.

So, if you have some time, a decent internet connection and unlimited data plan why don’t you take a few minutes and put the names of your favorite authors into the YouTube search engine and see what you will find. Below is a fairly comprehensive interview with James Patterson that writers and readers will probably love to view. Yes, he is not a “female” writer but his Women’s Murder Club is a great series and features 4 very strong female characters. He has a very nice website with lots of information so be sure and check that out as well: http://jamespatterson.com
