The second book in the series is just as fascinating as the first. The characters are lovable and you can probably pick out a friend or relative who acts the same. That really pulls you into the story. Of course I love most fantasy books and do not really care of they are adults or middle school age or anything in between, I like the world-building and the adventure. This story continues where Tree Singer left off and leaves a hoping the third story will come soon!
