New Store Section

Christmas5New Store Section for our website has been created and we are adding new eBooks to our inventory as fast as we can. You can visit it by clicking OUR STORE tab above or clicking HERE. Of course, you can buy an Acrobat Reader PDF format of our Insider’s Guide to Campground Hosting in Florida Parks directly from us. We have added most of the holiday books, coloring and craft pages and cookbooks. We are in the process of adding more eBooks we own the resell rights to as we can. Separating the store into it’s own domain should help keep our websites running quickly and efficiently as possible. Now that we are using a new web hosting service we hoping not to have to change to another one any time in the future.

New eBook Store Plugin

475 Gift Basket IdeasNew eBook Store Plug-in. Yes, we are once again trying to a new eCommerce plug-in for our eBook store page. We have not been satisfied with any of the FREE eCommerce plug-ins being offered on WordPress.org and are not willing to pay for one until we actually find one that will work with our own WordPress theme and, of course, we begin to make some book sales. We have moved most of our handcrafted (physical items) that we have for sale to our Square-Up Marketplace account. They handle all the financial transactions and we just ship the items. Since, I have always wanted to own and operate my own bookstore I am determined to keep at it until I find one that works for me. We have an inventory of over 200 eBooks that we have the resell rights to and will be adding them a little at a time. We have some more that we haven’t been able to assess yet and will work on those once we have the others added. Almost every single one of those will only be $1.00 and are available for immediate download with all payments being processed through PAYPAL. Again, we will not have access to your financial information with them either.

Self Publish With CreateSpace

BookCoverImageSELF PUBLISH WITH CREATESPACE

Our Book has been finalized and available in paperback format on CreateSpace. It offers “Print-on-Demand” services for self-publishing authors. They have great informational help sections to create your book, online previewers to see what your book will look like before it is available for printing and you get great author prices to buy a copy or ten of your book for you, your family and possibly sell your book yourself at festivals, shows, etc. You can do as much as you want in the process of getting your book ready for publishing or pay CreateSpace to do almost every single step for you. They have a wonderful free formatting guide you can download and we suggest that you read through it first before you go through your final draft. We highly recommend you buy a copy or two of the paperback proof of your book and have a couple of friends read through it before you submit the book for finalizing. They will give you a FREE ISBN number which is also great. They will not submit the book to the Library of Congress you will need to do that yourself.

Recycled Crafts

Bottlecaps I have collected last yearRecycled Crafts are those items that you create using materials that would have been thrown away anyway. Personally, I like collecting bottlecaps and using them to create jewelry. You can also use them to create wind chimes, pictures and much more. If you have a PInterest account you will see a wide variety of items being created using recycled bottlecaps. For those who don’t want to use items that they have found on the ground or rescued from the trash there are several companies online that offer freshly manufactured bottlecaps to use. Granted, collected bottlecaps from the ground or trash may seem a little gross but you are helping clean up the environment and eventually they may become part of some great art project. Use you imagination!
