New Store Section for our website has been created and we are adding new eBooks to our inventory as fast as we can. You can visit it by clicking OUR STORE tab above or clicking HERE. Of course, you can buy an Acrobat Reader PDF format of our Insider’s Guide to Campground Hosting in Florida Parks directly from us. We have added most of the holiday books, coloring and craft pages and cookbooks. We are in the process of adding more eBooks we own the resell rights to as we can. Separating the store into it’s own domain should help keep our websites running quickly and efficiently as possible. Now that we are using a new web hosting service we hoping not to have to change to another one any time in the future.

We are slowly getting caught up on our blog writing on all of our remaining websites. This month we have let a few website domains go back to the registrar in order to keep up with the other ones that are making a little more money. This will allow us to keep them updated and may even let us offer more services to our fellow writers. Since, we have over 20 years experience with computers and websites we can help the new authors out with building them a website, writing articles about how to build your own webpage on some of the few remaining FREE webhosting places and even offer services to format their books into the most popular formats for self publication. Yes, you can absolutely follow the instructions on Amazon and Smashwords to do all of these things yourself. But why should you when someone is willing to help you get it down for a small fee. (Keep checking our http://websandblogsforwriters.com website for details)

New eBook Store Plug-in. Yes, we are once again trying to a new eCommerce plug-in for our eBook store page. We have not been satisfied with any of the FREE eCommerce plug-ins being offered on WordPress.org and are not willing to pay for one until we actually find one that will work with our own WordPress theme and, of course, we begin to make some book sales. We have moved most of our handcrafted (physical items) that we have for sale to our Square-Up Marketplace account. They handle all the financial transactions and we just ship the items. Since, I have always wanted to own and operate my own bookstore I am determined to keep at it until I find one that works for me. We have an inventory of over 200 eBooks that we have the resell rights to and will be adding them a little at a time. We have some more that we haven’t been able to assess yet and will work on those once we have the others added. Almost every single one of those will only be $1.00 and are available for immediate download with all payments being processed through PAYPAL. Again, we will not have access to your financial information with them either.

Seeking other venues to help promote your site is helpful in these fast-paced times. Having your products on commercial websites such as Etsy.com and Ebay is a great way to advertise your own website and what you can offer the buying public. The best thing about having your own website is that, You Make The Rules, and can sell anything on it you wish. The downside to your own website is that you have to promote, publish and push your wares and pay for that promotion is a variety of places. Yes, this is just as much work as creating your items that you want to sell, no matter what they might be. Just as writers need to promote their books in local bookstores, online bookstores and attending book fairs; crafts persons must promote themselves and their work too.
